The Vacant Property Associate position is responsible for monitoring loan files for vacant and delinquent properties through the foreclosure process. The primary responsibilities of the role will include completing reviews of property inspection reports provided by external vendors, external vendors of property condition changes, and invoicing vendor repair completion orders. The Vacant Property Associate will take an active role in partnering with external vendors to ensure the property is being serviced within insurer guidelines. The position will be responsible for monitoring deadlines and ensuring there is clarity between internal and external stakeholders.
This position is responsible for the following actions:
- Monthly inspection report review to evaluate overall property condition and progress toward disposition
- Property condition analysis, utilizing in house software, to determine which damages need to be resolved and if new or worsening conditions exist
- Invoicing work orders submitted by vendors to ensure work completed was approved and remediated within insurer guidelines
- Vendor communication and relationship building with external network
- Deadline and timeline management; to include notification of timeline changes to internal and external stakeholders
- Property Risk Assessment to determine if overall risk of loss on the property has exceeded acceptable tolerance
**This position is fully onsite functioning in an administrative/clerical capacity processing loan level property preservation files**

Preference will be given to candidates who have previous property preservation, mortgage servicing, quality control, or auditing background.

Required- Up to one year of relevant work experience (preferred: property preservation or property management)
Education
Required- High School or better
