We are a small animal clinic seeking a veterinary technician or assistant. Preference will be given to candidates with experience, but it is not required. The ideal applicant will consider themselves self-motivated with a strong ability to multi-task. Rotating weekends are required.
Lifting up to 50 lbs multiple times daily will be required. This job also requires long periods of standing. We maintain a drug-free workplace. Candidates may be subject to a background check and drug screen prior to hire.

Responsibilities and Duties
Assistants will have a wide variety of duties, including, but not limited to the following:
- Clear communication with Veterinarians, fellow staff members, and clients
- Restraining patients for examinations and procedures
- Preparing and processing samples for in-house lab
- Administering medications
- Lifting up to 50 lbs multiple times daily without assistance
- Filling prescriptions
- Cleaning kennels, exam rooms, and other areas of the clinic
- Walking dogs, various kennel duties
- Entering all medications and treatments into computer software (AVImark)
- Maintaining the flow of the clinic
- Light reception duties as needed
