Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Receptionist to join our team. This role is essential in providing exceptional customer service and support to pet owners while ensuring the smooth operation of our veterinary clinic. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animals, strong communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Greet clients and their pets with warmth and professionalism upon arrival at the clinic.
- Schedule appointments and manage the clinic's calendar efficiently.
- Handle medical collections and process payments accurately.
- Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and treatment plans.
- Provide information to clients regarding pet care, treatments, and services offered by the clinic.
- Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and welcoming for clients and their pets.
- Manage incoming calls, emails, and inquiries promptly while addressing client concerns effectively.
- Requirements
- Previous experience in a veterinary setting is preferred but not mandatory; kennel experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of veterinary terminology, and basic animal care practices is essential.
- Familiarity with medical collection processes and customer service best practices.
- Ability to demonstrate compassion for animals while providing excellent client service.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing records and appointments.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
