We are a fast paced, privately owned two doctor veterinary practice located in Park Slope, seeking a reliable and professional Veterinary Receptionist (CSR) to join our team. The ideal candidate is a multi tasker who thrives in a busy environment and is passionate about providing exceptional service to both clients and their pets.
Key Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a veterinary clinic or hospital (required)
- Strong multitasking and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Friendly, professional and team oriented attitude
- Must be flexible with scheduling
- Veterinary software knowledge (AVImark a plus)
- Strong attention to detail and follow through
Primary responsibilities:
- Answering and managing multi-line phone system
- Handling a high volume of emails and prescription portal requests
- Scheduling and confirming appointments
- Checking in/out clients and managing payments and transactions
- Responding to follow ups and managing daily task/work lists
- Medical records management and general office duties
- Educating clients on basic pet care and clinic procedures
