Position overview
Associate will greet customers with “Aloha” when they arrive. Discuss Macadamia Nut process and build rapport/relationship with customers. Ring up customer purchases. Assist in daily store operations.
Responsible to process payments and refunds from customers using a point-of-sale system.
- Show Aloha to all guests.
- Opening and closing of store in accordance with operating hours.
- Be able to discuss and answer questions about Macadamia Nut industry/process.
- Communicate ideas that will improve sales.
- Be able to balance cash drawer at end of day.
- Hand out samples to guests and discuss alternate product lines.
- Assist with stocking, organizing, and taking inventory of merchandise.
- Ability to pick, pack and ship items purchased by customers.
- Keep the store clean.
- Must be willing to work weekends.
Qualifications
- Must be able to speak English and communicate effectively. Bi-lingual is a plus.
- Ability to work as a team and be pleasant around co-workers.
- Proficient in using a Point-of-Sales system. Clover is our current system.
- Employee should look forward to interacting with customers/tourists for entire shift.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.50 - $18.50 per hour
