Warehouse Associate

This is a warehouse position responsible for any combination of the following tasks: to receive, store, and distribute materials and products within our warehouse establishment.

Responsibilities

• Pick merchandise from the distribution bays and transport it to the shipping bay

• Unload floor loaded trailers as needed by hand

• Receive merchandise to be forwarded to customers and verify PO numbers

• Records amounts of materials or items received and distributed

• Conveys materials and items from receiving to shipping area by hand

• Marks materials with identifying information including labels and markers

• Identify damaged, lost or missing merchandise and notify supervisor immediately

• Treat merchandise with care and concern at all times

• Train and support new employees as they are onboarded

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Must have a minimum of 6-12 months warehouse or related experience

• Basic math skills to count product

• The ability to operate independently with minimal supervision

• The ability to read product labels, warehouse forms, etc.

• Adhere to all company policies and procedures

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl and talk and hear.

• The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50-80 pounds

• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
