About the Position
The Warehouse Supervisor oversees the day-to-day operations of the warehouse. The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for organizing the safe and efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of raw materials, supplies and finished goods to sustain business operations and satisfy customer demand.
Work Location/Schedule
- This position requires the employee to be onsite at our VitalPath New Hope, MN location but will also support our Cokato, MN location. The primary location for this position is New Hope.
- VitalPath does not offer relocation assistance for this position.
Responsibilities
- Manage inventory and reconcile with data storage systems.
- Create items receipts into ERP system matching vendor packing list.
- Manage raw material shelf-life dates and report out product that is reaching expiration.
- Manage all MRF using first-in first-out (FIFO) based on lot numbers.
- Implement and lead activities on safety initiatives and security of warehouse.
- Verify customer packing list and related shipping documents.
- Track usage of stock supplies utilizing Kanban and related ERP systems.
- Manage warehouse supplies and equipment and create purchase requests maintaining proper inventory levels.
- Work with management to plan and ensure products are shipped per schedule.
- Drop off shipments to courier, when necessary.
- From time to time, communicate with customers on shipment status and provide documents as requested.
- Troubleshoot shipment delays and resolve issues as they occur.
- Work with purchasing team on managing vendor receipt log and delays of shipment.
- Work with receiving on urgency of raw material receipts.
- Ensure efficient space utilization of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layout.
- Maintains warehouse staff by leading, recruiting, hiring, and training employees.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3-5 years of related experience
- Proficient working knowledge with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
- Computer skills, working knowledge of inventory software (QuickBooks, ERP software, etc)
- Basic knowledge and use of calibrated equipment such as micrometers, calipers, pin gauges, etc
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Detail oriented experience – ability to detect discrepancy between documents or defective shipments
- Must be proficient in English
- Must be able to lift 75 pounds
- Must be able to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in logistics, inventory management, supply chain or equivalent
- Experience in manufacturing environment having exposure to international standards
- Ability to read and comprehend blueprints including basic dimensions and tolerances
- Prior experience in an ISO or FDA regulated company
Compensation Package
- The salary range for this position is $58,296 - $73,669 . The posted salary range complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as market conditions, level of experience and training, education, certifications, as well as internal and external equity.
- This position is eligible to earn an annual performance bonus based on meeting VitalPath’s bonus performance plan.
