- Job Summary:
_ Loads, unloads and transports materials and goods between plant and customers. May utilize manual or mechanical material handling equipment as required. Prepares, obtains and completes companies shipping receipts, material transfer orders, packing slips and similar documentation as required. Operates material handling equipment including forklifts and pallet jacks. May be required to operate Company vehicles to transfer materials between warehouses and deliver finished goods to customers. Flexible work schedule including evenings and Saturdays. The right candidate will have a flexible attitude and adapts well to change._
Essential Job Functions: **
Unload incoming materials from trucks
- Verify quantities received against Packing List
- Deliver all UPS shipments to proper departments
- Provide warehouse support to Supply Chain team as needed
- Backup support of daily functions of WIP Warehouse and/or
- Verification of Shipping quantities & paperwork
- Assure that all trucks are clean and well maintained
- Daily shuttle runs to and from Hastings Warehouse & Ford Rd/Gobbi Warehouses
- Shipping and receiving of raw and finished goods
- Driving a forklift and use of a pallet jack on a daily basis
- Maintains general housekeeping of staging areas.
- Works overtime as required to support business needs.
- Perform other duties as determined by supervisor and management.
Qualification Requirements:
Must be able to follow written and oral instructions, precisely. Must be self-motivated and work efficiently without direct supervision. Must be able to make decisions, utilizing tools and information available. Must be able to read and understand SOP’s and specifications. Must be physically able to lift and/ or move rolls of material and boxes of capsules up to 50 pounds. Must be able to rotate shifts or work additional hours as needed. Clean DMV record required with appropriate California license. Must be forklift certified or able to complete certification upon hire.
Education and/or Experience:
− High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
− Basic computer knowledge
− Basic reading, writing and numerical ability required.
− Minimum of 3 years warehouse or material coordination experience preferred
− Must have solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite: Word/Excel/Access/Outlook. ERP systems preferred.
− Must be detail oriented, enthusiastic and physically active.
Physical Requirements:
Bending, stooping, lifting, standing or sitting for long periods, able to lift 50lbs safely,

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
