Overview
We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in IT and systems engineering, with a focus on service-oriented architecture and solution architecture. This role requires a proactive individual who can analyze business needs, design effective solutions, and collaborate with various stakeholders to enhance operational efficiency.
Duties
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements.
- Design and implement effective IT solutions that align with organizational goals.
- Develop and maintain system architecture documentation.
- Conduct data analysis using ETL processes to support decision-making.
- Ensure the integrity of IT infrastructure through system administration and management.
- Utilize cloud security best practices to safeguard sensitive information.
- Engage in continuous integration and deployment practices within an Agile framework.
- Troubleshoot issues related to operating systems, networking, and databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL).
- Participate in system hardening and vulnerability management initiatives.
- Create RESTful APIs and web services to facilitate data exchange between systems.
- Support development teams with debugging and testing of applications in various programming languages including Java, Python, C#, and Ruby on Rails.
Experience
Candidates should have a solid foundation in computer science or a related field, along with experience in the following areas:
- Service-oriented architecture and solution architecture principles.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- Proficiency in database management systems including SQL, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, and NoSQL technologies.
- Understanding of virtualization technologies like VMware and ESXi.
- Knowledge of security protocols including VPNs, firewalls, and threat intelligence.
- Experience with DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins.
- Strong scripting skills in languages such as Bash (Unix shell), PowerShell, or Python.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management frameworks.

Job Type: Contract
Pay: $44.04 - $53.04 per hour
