Workforce Planning Analyst
Position Description:
Under the direction of the Practice Director of Strategic Operations, the Workforce Planning Analyst plays a critical role in supporting strategic workforce initiatives across the practice. This position is responsible for preparing and analyzing workforce planning data, forecasting clinician workforce needs, and developing actionable insights. The analyst collaborates with practice and department leadership align workforce planning strategy with patient care demand and organizational goals. Perform financial and business-related analysis, data manipulation and forecast preparation. Apply results of analysis to produce recommendations for practice and department leadership.
Hybrid role with an expectation of consistent on-site collaboration.
Responsibilities:
- Perform primary analysis of workforce planning proforma submissions
- Create and maintain basic dashboards and reports to track workforce metrics. Prepares accurate and timely reports.
- Provide support to the workforce planning committee meetings and contribute to data-driven discussions.
- Perform analysis of workforce planning data and identify and communicate trends.
- Develop, generate and maintain monthly workforce planning reports for internal distribution.
- Actively collaborate with departmental leaders to better understand clinician workforce needs.
- Assist in identifying patterns and provide insights to improve efficiency and support recruitment strategies.
- Support the development of clinician staffing models and forecasts to meet patient care and operational needs.
- Generates forecasts to analyze financial trends and research impact of decisions and ROI.
- Identify and propose solutions to inefficiencies and opportunities for cost reduction and revenue optimization.
- Apply results of analysis of multiple complex reports to produce recommendations for practice leadership and various stakeholders.
- Prepare ad hoc requests and provide financial interpretation, analysis and market-based information to multiple stakeholders.
- Develops data collection, validation, and analysis tools to meet project requirements.
- Review data for consistency, accuracy, and quality, summarize results, and prepare progress reports.
- Assist in gathering and organizing workforce data from HR systems, scheduling platforms, and operational reports.
- Oversee completion of special projects as assigned.

- Interest in healthcare operations and workforce strategy.
Preferred Schedule:
Full-time role with expectations for coverage during core business hours and flexibility required as necessary to accommodate business needs.
Position Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications:
Appropriate experience may be substituted for education on an equivalent basis.
Minimum Required Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
Minimum Required Experience: 4 years
