Osorio Training Center is excited to announce an opportunity for enthusiastic and skilled youth Boxing Coaches to join our Youth Enrichment Program. We are looking for dynamic individuals to teach boxing and self-defense to elementary, middle, and high school students.
As a coach with us, you’ll play a crucial role in inspiring and guiding the next generation, helping them develop not only their boxing skills but also confidence and discipline. Candidate Requirements:
- MUST BE AT LEAST 18 YEARS OR OLDER
- A CURRENT TB TEST IS REQUIRED PRIOR TO START DATE
- ACCESS TO RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION FOR TRAVELING TO VARIOUS SCHOOLS WITHIN THE HAYWARD UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT
Candidate Expectations
- Good grasp of boxing fundamentals and techniques
- Flexibility to coach during afternoon hours
- Comfort and skill in working with students of varying experience levels.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage and motivate students.
- Ability to build meaningful and encouraging relationships with students, fostering a supportive learning environment.
- Consistently maintain a positive and energetic approach to coaching.
Compensation:
- The pay rate for this position is $25 per class.
Schedule:
- Monday to Thursday 3 to 5pm (_expected work hours range from 2-8 _hrs/week)
