Hours: 10-20 per week (Afternoons, Monday–Friday)
Are you passionate about working with youth? Looking for a part-time role where you can make a real difference while gaining valuable experience in education and child development?
We’re hiring Youth Development Professionals (YDPs) to join our dynamic team! YDPs create safe, engaging, and fun environments where kids can learn, grow, and thrive after school.
Key Responsibilities
- Build positive relationships with youth, families, school staff, and your teammates
- Lead and participate in physical and creative activities (games, sports, arts, etc.)
- Support youth in developing social-emotional skills and healthy peer interactions
- Supervise and ensure safety during indoor and outdoor activities (rain or shine)
- Teach and facilitate planned lessons with enthusiasm and care
- Collaborate with site supervisor for program planning
- Participate in weekly staff meetings and monthly trainings

- Ability to actively lead activities and engage with kids
- Willingness to learn and grow through training and feedback
- Comfort working both indoors and outdoors in all weather
- Must be 18 years or older for elementary school sites; 21 years or older for middle or high school sites
Schedule & Training
- Weekdays: Afternoon shifts (starting as early as 2:00 pm)
- Fridays may start as early as 11:30 am
- Weekly site meetings (30–60 min) + monthly/quarterly trainings (some Saturdays)
