Saint Patrick Parish is seeking faithful dynamic Catholics, full or part-time paid, to join our Youth and Family Discipleship (YFD) Team.
The YFD Team is responsible for developing and leading programs that empower families and especially youth to live as disciples of Jesus Christ.
Programs include preparation for first Sacraments (Baptism, Reconciliation, Eucharist, and Confirmation), family faith formation, middle and high school discipleship small groups, summer programs like Extreme Faith Camp, Vacation Bible School, Totus Tuus, mission trips, Steubenville Conferences, and other activities focused on the spiritual, personal, and social development of young people within the Catholic faith.
Members of the YFD Team are called upon to build relationships with youth and adults. They recruit, train, and supervise adult and youth volunteers. They provide opportunities for families and youth to serve one another, provide hospitality, as well as work collaboratively as a members of the YFD team supporting one another’s
activities.
Job Qualifications:
- Practicing Catholic with strong knowledge and appreciation of the Catholic faith and traditions.
- Previous experience working with youth, including planning and implementing youth events.
- Understanding of and commitment to the teachings and values of the Roman Catholic Church.
- Ability to empower young people to live as disciples of Jesus Christ in our world today.
- Must have ability to work well with people, to give clear directions, and to adapt to changing conditions. Ability to work without immediate supervision.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and leadership.
- Able to pass a required background check and complete required initial.

Institution Description: Saint Patrick Parish is a Roman Catholic Parish of over 1600 families and is located in Hudson, Wisconsin. The parish is an active community whose main church building is used for a variety of religious, educational, and social activities by parishioners. In addition, there are a variety of outside groups who also use our facilities. Saint Patrick School is a Preschool through 8th grade Catholic School located two miles away from the church.
