CAL Sports Academy offers structured sports training for youth (ages 9–18), emphasizing integrity, leadership, and a positive “can-do” mindset. Our mission is to build strength of mind, body, and spirit, helping young athletes grow both on and off the court.
Role Overview
We’re looking for a dynamic Youth Volleyball Instructor to deliver engaging, skill‑based training during after‑school and weekend programs. Ideal for motivated individuals with a passion for working with kids and a strong volleyball background.
What You’ll Do
- Lead age-appropriate volleyball instruction using evidence‑based drills and curriculum
- Develop tailored lesson plans for skill enhancement
- Create an inclusive and positive learning environment for all abilities
- Set up/tear down gym spaces and equipment
- Observe player progress and provide both verbal and written feedback to parents
- Communicate professionally with parents and help recruit new participants
What We Need From You
- Energetic, patient, and experienced working with youth
- Competent with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Volleyball experience (playing or coaching) preferred
- Coaching, PE, or teaching background is valuable
- Strong communication and motivational skills
- CPR/First Aid certified
- Ability to maintain PA clearances (child abuse, criminal, FBI)
Schedule & Location
- Part‑time, flexible hours: evenings and weekends
- Programs based in Lansdale and Souderton
