Smart Teachers is recruiting for a SEN Teacher / ASD Teacher to join a ‘Good’ three form entry primary school in Kingsbury (NW9). This SEN Teacher / ASD Teacher position is available for either an April 2019 or September 2019 start, with both temp and permanent contracts available. The school strives to create an enjoyment of learning and provides both in house and external opportunities for development, as well as an onsite ARP which caters for children with ASD. Due to the expansion of this additionally resourced provision, an opportunity has arisen for a qualified SEN Teacher / ASD Teacher to join this forward thinking school, whose philosophy is child-centred. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and passionate SEN Teacher / ASD Teacher to join a growing team. The successful SEN Teacher / ASD Teacher will work closely with the Teacher in Charge of the provision as well as the senior leadership team, becoming an essential member in ensuring the development of the ARP within this school and providing the highest standard of education for the pupils in its care. Both experienced teachers and NQT’s are welcome to apply.

In order to be considered for this role, the SEN Teacher / ASD Teacher will need to meet the following criteria:

• Bachelor of Education / PGCE / or equivalent teaching degree with QTS

• Proven experience teaching the UK, or an equivalent, curriculum

• NQTs and/or OS-trained teachers are welcome to apply?

• Have strong communication, literacy and numeracy skills

• Eligible to work in the UK (must have valid visa)

• Recent classroom-based references and valid DBS/police checks
