About the role

The Curriculum Manager is responsible for supporting the development, review, and continuous improvement of academic programs within the Faculty of Arts, Sciences, Law and Business. It also contributes to strengthening academic governance and curriculum quality by implementing strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with Faculty Leaders to monitor and support the development and revision of Faculty programs.
  • Support and monitor the design and delivery of processes for academic governance and curriculum management and provide timely information to Faculty leadership.
  • Manage and develop a centralised Faculty source of publications, including program and course materials, ensuring their currency and accuracy.
  • Develop and implement effective internal and external communication strategies to engage and inform staff, students and external stakeholders on academic governance and curriculum activities and initiatives.
  • Provide guidance and operational guidelines on academic governance and curriculum matters and build effective communication frameworks with academic staff to support curriculum, accreditation and quality assurance documentation.
  • Contribute to compliance, audit, accreditation and re-registration activities, and implement effective project management processes to ensure high-quality delivery of outcomes within agreed timeframes.

Qualifications, skills & experience

  • Postgraduate qualifications or progress towards postgraduate qualifications and extensive relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
  • Significant experience in the tertiary education sector, particularly in academic governance and curriculum.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to prepare and deliver papers, reports and proposals for all levels of the University.
  • Highly developed stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills, with the ability to gain confidence, influence and engage a broad range of internal stakeholders.
  • Strong project management, problem-solving and organisational skills, with proven initiative, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects and competing deadlines.
  • Excellent computer skills, including MS Office and SharePoint, the ability to learn new systems.
