More specifically you will have:

Tertiary qualification in Business, Human Resources, Project Management, Organisational Change or a related discipline

Experience in senior executive support, program/project management or chief of staff type role

Demonstrated experience coordinating high-priority work across multiple executives, functions and stakeholders.

Proven experience preparing high-quality executive, Board or governance materials, briefings, reports and presentations.

Demonstrated experience coordinating organisational transformations and complex projects from planning to implementation.

Experience handling highly confidential and sensitive information and exercising sound independent judgement.

An understanding of P&C operating environments and interdependencies between workforce, systems, change capability and organisational priorities.

About the role

The Executive Manager, Office of the Chief People Officer (CPO) is an enabling and coordination role responsible for People and Culture portfolio planning and delivery of cross functional People transformation and priority projects across the St Vincent De Paul Society group.

The role is a trusted conduit between the CPO, People Group leaders, executives and key stakeholders. It combines high level executive support and coordination with substantive responsibility for transformation delivery, project governance, issue and dependency management, executive and governance materials, and the coordination of priority work commissioned by the CPO.

Key responsibilities

Provide high-level executive coordination to the CPO, managing the Office's operating rhythm, priorities and decision points

Lead cross-functional People transformation projects and priority initiatives, from planning through to implementation

Coordinate the integrated People Group plan, portfolio priorities and governance and reporting disciplines

Prepare and quality assure executive briefings, Board and committee papers and other governance materials

Build strong relationships with People Group leaders, executives and stakeholders and support change and communication activity

Identify, monitor and escalate project and reputational risks, handling sensitive matters with discretion
