Senior Business Analyst- Insurance Products

About the opportunity

iterate is partnering with one of Australia's leading industry super funds to find an experienced Senior Business Analyst for an important insurance initiative. This is an initial 6-month contract with potential to extend, starting ASAP.

The fund is changing its Total and Permanent Disability (TPD) insurance offering. It's working closely with its insurer and fund administrator, guided by one clear principle: members should not be worse off.

What you'll be doing

• Analysing product and member scenarios, including occupation-level differences in cover and premiums
• Connecting product changes with premium rate changes and the annual premium review
• Assessing impacts across people, processes and systems, and capturing requirements, business rules and process flows
• Working with the insurer and administrator to specify, track and verify changes
• Reviewing member communications to make sure they're accurate and match requirements
• Supporting testing and UAT through to implementation

What you'll bring

• Strong Senior BA experience in financial services
• Insurance product change experience, ideally delivered from a systems perspective
• End-to-end enterprise transformation experience
• Confidence working with vendors and senior stakeholders
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Highly regarded

• Superannuation or group life insurance experience (Death, TPD, IP)
• Knowledge of premium repricing or insurance-in-super regulation
• CBAP certification
