Greenhouse Herbal Center was established in 2006 in an effort to provide accessible, quality cannabis to our community, and to provide knowledge to our customers. As demand grows, we are ready to expand and bring on like minded individuals to join our Greenhouse Team as an office assistant. We diligently strive to create a professional atmosphere by working with our team to maintain a progressive mindset . Our expectation bar is high and we want to set a precedent as leaders in the cannabis industry and in our local community of Los Feliz. Our staff is expected to be friendly, enthusiastic, patient, and have a sufficient amount of cannabis knowledge. Please review the description of duties and only apply if you meet all requirements.

Office Assistant Requirements:

  • Quickbooks experience desktop and/or online
  • A great, clear and efficient note taker
  • Bachelor’s (In business administration preferred)
  • Knows how to do research online and on the field
  • Has great writing skills
  • Has Excel knowledge
  • Knows how to take initiviate
  • Can take direction well
  • Knows how to navigate social media
  • Very well organized and can manage calendars
  • Prior experience handling office responsibilities, experience in customer service, or related field
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel); scheduling appointments/updating calendars
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized multitasker who works well in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to learn and to grow with the company

Job Duties:

  • Assist in planning company events, meetings, luncheons, and employee team building activities or special projects
  • Help prepare reports, presentations, and data
  • Manage and maintain files, records, and correspondence for meetings
  • Type documents, drafts, and reports
  • Arrange schedules for meeting space and conference rooms
  • Assist with travel and expense reports
  • Update staff calendars and organize schedules
  • Prepare information and research for executive needs
  • Oversee mail deliveries, packages, and couriers
  • Purchase, track, and invoice office supplies for each department
  • Set up, break down, organize, and maintain conference rooms, training rooms, and meeting rooms
  • Arrange itineraries and executive correspondence
  • Pick up and sort all mail

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: $15.00 to $20.00 /hour
