Validation & Characterization Engineering Intern

We are looking for an Electrical Engineering Intern to validate and characterize our ARM Server Processors power management. Marvell Thunder X2 is the highest performance ARM server solution in the market, and Thunder X3 will continue that lead.

We are looking for someone who will participate/assist in one or more activities as follows:

§

Silicon (CPU, SOC, SerDes PHY) bring-up, validation and characterization

§

Power and Thermal Management characterization, data collection and analysis

§

Develop and optimize automation scripts

§

Server platform PCB development, integration and validation

§

Customer design-in support and

issues root cause analysis

§

Collateral development (datasheets, application notes, user design guides)

Minimum Requirements:

§

BS or MS Electrical and Computer Engineering with Analog/Digital/Mixed Signal and VLSI design focus.

§

Prior internship, school project experience in Silicon (SOC, Processor, Memory) validation and characterization, platform PCB design/debug, power management and hands-on lab equipment (scopes, BERT, logic analyzers, power supplies, temperature chambers, etc.) will be a BIG plus.

§

Any programming and script languages (C, C++, Python, Perl) and automation experience desirable

§

Good interpersonal, analytical and communication (written, verbal, presentation) skills
