Software Engineer - Embedded Systems

You will design, develop, and port autonomous software modules across system-on-chip platforms. You will bring up embedded hardware and software, optimize perception models, interface with automotive middleware, and support vehicle, software-in-the-loop, and hardware-in-the-loop operations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and debug the autonomous stack on embedded compute platforms
• Optimize perception models for embedded performance with machine learning engineers
• Interface with automotive middleware and communication protocols
• Support vehicle operations and software-in-the-loop and hardware-in-the-loop setups
• Use AI-accelerated development tools and workflows

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on C/C++ experience in POSIX and RTOS environments
• Experience with automotive SoCs
• Low-level understanding of hardware accelerators, encoders, DSPs, and GPUs
• Knowledge of QNX and Linux
• Experience with microcontrollers, hardware debuggers, and flashing interfaces
