Compliance Officer France

You will own financial-crime compliance for the French branch. You will review escalated cases, decide and document suspicious-activity filings, submit reports to Tracfin, support investigations and sanctions escalations, maintain the local AML/CFT framework, track regulatory changes, train staff, and support regulatory exchanges.

Responsibilities

• Review escalated cases and decide whether suspicious-activity reports are required
• Maintain auditable records of filing and non-filing decisions
• Draft, quality-check, and file suspicious-activity reports with Tracfin
• Handle droit de communication requests and follow-ups
• Act as the escalation point for complex French cases
• Contribute to transaction-monitoring tuning, alert typologies, and red-flag guidance
• Support asset-freeze and sanctions escalations
• Ensure group AML/CFT policies meet French requirements and flag gaps
• Contribute to the French branch risk assessment and annual regulatory reporting
• Track regulatory changes and explain their operational impact
• Train local staff and analysts on French compliance requirements
• Prepare for and lead exchanges with ACPR and Tracfin
• Report key metrics and risks to FinCrime Operations and Group Compliance

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in product management
• Meaningful experience applying LLM or agentic AI to digital products
• Experience in B2B/B2C fintech or another regulated digital product
• Experience owning client-facing mobile or web platforms from discovery through delivery
• UX and customer-journey design knowledge
• Product analytics and data-driven decision-making skills
• Qualitative and quantitative research skills
• Experience shipping with Design and Engineering in an agile environment
• Experience with automation, AI, or workflow or CRM platforms
• Stakeholder management skills
• Fluent English
