Senior Software Engineer

You will lead the design, development, and optimization of products from incubation through production. You will write, test, and debug modern C++ software, integrate customer and internal software, turn requirements into technical solutions, and mentor junior engineers.

Responsibilities

• Lead product design, development, and optimization from incubation to production
• Identify and improve ineffective processes and code
• Integrate customer and internal software into products
• Write, test, and debug efficient modern C++ code
• Translate customer and product requirements into technical solutions
• Train and mentor junior engineers

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related engineering field
• 5+ years of hands-on experience developing performant modern C++, or willingness to learn C++
• Procedural and object-oriented programming experience
• Knowledge of clean-code principles and object-oriented design patterns
• Experience with Docker, containerized development environments, and Linux-based operating systems
• Ability to hold UK Security Clearance
