Responsible for partnering with the Human Resources function to ensure best in class service to all stakeholders in a contact lens Distribution Center (DC) environment. The HR Assistant will perform full scale administrative duties in support of the department/operations, to include: filing, data entry, management of employee training records, scheduling and ordering tasks, as well as ad hoc projects/assignments. Successful incumbent will be a team player with high integrity and confidentiality, with a demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize, while maintaining a high-level of professionalism in this customer-facing role.


1.Performs data entry, including employee training records, into Excel spreadsheets, and Agile (eQMS) system.

a.Thoroughly reviews training records for completion, accuracy and compliance.

2.Maintains employee files, including filing and removal of HR files and training records.

3.Creates and replaces employee identification badges.

4.Performs scheduling/booking tasks, including scheduling conference rooms/interviews, and sending invitations for classes, trainings and events.

5.Orders supplies for the department.

6.Administers and collects employee policy signoffs.

7.Prints and prepares training materials for facilitators.

8.Prepares training records for long term storage at a secure off-site record retention facility.

9.May act as a resource to answer basic employee questions.

10.Participates in projects/requests/assignments based on the needs of the department/facility.

11.As business needs dictate, works extended hours to complete daily department goals or tasks to include mandatory overtime.

•Prior work experience in customer service or an HR department is required.

•Experience in a professional/office setting is preferred.


•High school degree or equivalent is required.

•Associate Degree or higher is preferred.
