You will design and execute firmware test cases using HIL benches, vehicles, and prototypes. You will maintain test environments, investigate failures, automate tests with Python, collaborate on issue resolution, and document testing procedures, results, and analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and execute test cases from system requirements
  • Perform system and integration testing for automotive subsystems
  • Set up, configure, and maintain HIL test environments
  • Analyze test failures and perform root cause analysis
  • Support OEM integration and communicate test results, risks, and issues
  • Conduct validation testing on vehicles and prototypes
  • Develop and maintain Python-based test automation scripts
  • Document test procedures, results, findings, and failure analysis

Requirements

  • 4+ years of validation engineering experience in automotive, embedded systems, or electronics
  • HIL systems
  • Automotive system validation
  • Python or another programming language for test automation
  • Troubleshooting
  • Root cause analysis
  • Test documentation
  • Issue tracking
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent
