Follows blueprints to assemble electronic devices using tools and other assembly equipment. Reporting directly to the Production Supervisor, this position is based in Shreveport, Louisiana. with the leader in foodservice innovation! Essential Job Functions:
  • Work from production orders, specifications, blueprints, diagrams, written and verbal instructions, and standardized methods to assemble electronic components and devices, including circuit boards
  • Check order for options; visually check parts and materials. Position, secure, mount, fit, install assemblies as prescribed
  • Perform operations to product specification requirements
  • Use of various tools. Use of measuring devices and electronic meters for adherence to specifications
  • Check installed parts for proper fit and alignment; proper positioning and correct electrical specifications.
  • Make appropriate adjustments
  • Work with Engineering / R&D to create new assemblies, as requested
  • Perform duties in accordance with current Quality Management System, Safety Management System, and Manitowoc Code of Conduct requirements
  • Exercise proper care in the use and storage of tools, equipment, and materials. Detect and report faulty equipment, improper operations, and unusual conditions to supervision
