Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various environments, including commercial and residential spaces. The Cleaner will play a vital role in ensuring that facilities are safe, clean, and welcoming for all occupants.
Must have a valid drivers license.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming in designated areas.
- Carry out commercial cleaning duties in offices, retail spaces, and other facilities.
- Assist with residential painting projects as needed.
- Conduct facilities maintenance tasks to ensure all areas are well-maintained.
- Act as a porter by managing waste disposal and ensuring common areas are tidy.
- Maintain cleanliness in restrooms and break rooms, restocking supplies when necessary.
- Execute industrial cleaning procedures for specialized equipment or areas.
- Perform floor care activities including buffing and polishing surfaces to maintain appearance.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in custodial or cleaning roles is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of commercial cleaning techniques and equipment is a plus.
- Familiarity with facilities maintenance practices is advantageous.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- A positive attitude and willingness to work collaboratively with team members.
