Position Type: Full-Time
Al Salam Day School - North Campus is seeking a dedicated and qualified Homeroom Teacher for 3rd Grade. The ideal candidate will provide a nurturing and engaging learning environment that supports students’ academic and social-emotional growth.
Responsibilities:
- Provide instruction in core subjects (Math, English Language Arts, Science, Social Studies) following the school’s curriculum.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and structured classroom environment.
- Implement lesson plans and adapt instruction to meet diverse student needs.
- Assess student progress and provide feedback to students and families.
- Maintain regular communication with parents/guardians and school staff.
- Collaborate with grade-level teams and support staff to enhance student learning.
- Manage classroom routines and expectations in alignment with school policies.
Qualifications:
- Required: Valid Elementary Education License
- Experience working with elementary-aged children is preferred.
- Strong classroom management and organizational skills.
- Ability to create an engaging and supportive learning environment.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Preferred: Familiarity or experience with an Islamic school atmosphere and
values.
