Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Elementary School Teacher to join our educational team. Duties
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards.
- Utilize various teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a conducive learning atmosphere.
- Provide individualized support to students, including mentoring and tutoring as needed.
- Conduct assessments to evaluate student progress and adapt instruction accordingly.
- Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student development and address any concerns.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay current with educational trends.
- Contribute to curriculum development initiatives, including the integration of Montessori principles where applicable.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in education or a related field; teaching certification preferred.
- Experience working with children in an educational setting, preferably in a private school environment.
- Strong skills in behavior management and early intervention strategies.
- Familiarity with curriculum development processes and best practices in education.
- Experience with mentoring students and providing tutoring support is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of Montessori methods is a plus but not required.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with students, parents, and staff.
- A commitment to fostering an inclusive classroom environment that respects diversity and promotes equity among all students.
