Are you passionate and interested in working with the senior population? Would you like to explore a career as a Care Professional with Home Instead? We are accepting people with all levels of experience. Our offices are equipped with Care Professional Training Centers where we can teach you any activities of daily living (ADLs) that you may not know or just need some brushing up on. Some of these ADLs include bathing, dressing, grooming, and incontinence care.

What Does a Caregiver Do?

At Home Instead, caring is our passion, and it starts with our Care Professionals. Our Care Professionals help with activities of daily living to allow seniors to remain in their homes while assisting them with the challenges of aging with dignity and compassion. Care Professionals assist with a range of needs including personal care, transportation to and from appointments, errands, and activities, medication reminders, and many more tasks. We also offer flexible schedules, competitive pay, and great work culture!

Schedule Description:

We currently have a great need for Care Professionals looking for both Part-Time and Full-Time work schedules. Typical schedules are built around 4-hour blocks so shift options could be 4-hour, 8-hour, or 12-hour shifts. We do require care professionals to work a MINIMUM of 10 hours a week. Our primary goal is to establish a recurring schedule for our care professionals so if that's important to you, please contact us immediately.

To ensure your safety, Home Instead is:

  • Performing interviews virtually for your convenience and safety
  • Providing proper PPE
  • Adhering to strict COVID-19 Safety Protocols
  • Providing an online training program

Requirements for being a Care Professional:

  • Work a minimum of 10 hours a week
  • Be willing to drive a 15 – 20-mile radius around your home city
  • Stick to a shift availability for 90 days
  • Have a reoccurring weekly shift

Caregiver Skills and Qualifications:

  • Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect.
  • Be a good and patient listener in a friendly and polite manner.
  • Complete Background Check, DMV check, and drug screen.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license, social security card, and valid auto insurance.
  • Previous experience is preferred, but not necessary.
