Freelance Copywriter

The National Cycling League (NCL) is a brand new organization revolutionizing cycling in the United States and building the professional sports league of the future – one that embraces technology, diverse ownership, gender equity, sustainability and community investment. The NCL will launch in 2023 with a series of criterium-style races that will exist both in the real world and the metaverse.

As a key contributor on the NCL marketing team, the freelance copywriter will be responsible for developing strategic, creative, brand-driven copy, where you are comfortable relying on education and accumulated expertise to yield smart product-focused copy that engages consumers on a as needed project basis

• 
  With strong attention to detail, craft sales-oriented product copy that incorporates best principles and practices

• Proofreading/editing copy as needed

• Consistently meet goals and production metrics to ensure a successful response from produced content

• Check that all content being advertised is truthful and complies with codes of advertising practices
