Sawyer Garden Center is now hiring Utility Laborers to join our team!
Sawyer Home & Garden Center is a Harbor Country destination with everything for your home, lawn and garden. • Full-time or Part-time
• Between 9 am and 7 pm- up to 40 hours
• $15 - $17/hour

Responsible for assisting in the closing of the store

Job duties will include:

• Maintenance of building and grounds
• Stocking produce
• Moving product and store fixtures, displays, and coolers to new location around the store as needed
• Unloading deliveries, Heavy lifting
• Stocking and pulling forward products as needed
• Answering customer questions
• Carry-out to customer cars
• Using a 2-way radio system
• Maintaining a clean and orderly area
• Cleaning indoors and outdoors
• Use of a forklift and hand tools

Requirements:

• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment indoors and outdoors
• Must be dependable
• Must be a team player, willing to help as needed
• Must be available to work evenings (until 8 pm), weekends, and some holidays
• Experience is preferred but not necessary
• This job will require you to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 lbs.
