ABOUT THIS ROLE:

This person will help us build the industry’s best Sales team by attracting the right talent and supporting them with the culture and operating model needed for world-class outcomes:

  • Trusted advisors: Our AEs are deep industry experts who use their thought leadership and consultative skills to create long-term, value-driven relationships with client team members. They are comfortable discussing the challenges of the industry and unique needs of the client with C-Level executives in their language and terms

  • Business problem solvers: Our AEs take on ambiguous and complex business problems and bring rigor to a client’s decision making process by presenting and evaluating solution options, and driving consensus among key stakeholders. They act as single points of contact for all client stakeholders (buyers, managers, users, SIs) through the pre-sales and sales phases of our relationship and own the process of contracting and negotiations. They partner with our Client Success team to continue to engage the client in post-sales phases and win add-on revenue mandates

  • Technology pioneers: Our AEs work closely with our SEs in aligning our clients’ business strategies to our solutions and services.

  • Efficient operators: Our Sales Operations team members support the sales process efficiently and create repeatable assets and processes (e.g., RFP response collateral) so our AEs can self-service simpler situations

  • Work life balance: Our team members know how to outperform professionally while thriving in their personal life goals

  • This person will lead by example by taking on these responsibilities personally and executing them hands-on, especially initially, to set up the best practices for the team

  • This person will use their judgment on when to travel to client sites, HT offices or industry events

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 10+ years of relevant experience

  • Broad knowledge of L&A insurance business and technology trends and their value to clients businesses

  • Considerable experience working with L&A insurers in SaaS AE and AE lead roles

  • Track record of negotiating and executing strategic SaaS relationships (e.g., early adopter agreements)

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; dynamic (persuasive) in presenting ideas to clients and prospective clients from VP to C-level

  • Aptitude towards building expertise driven Sales teams and consultative team culture

  • Mindset of attracting the best talent, empowering them and building amazing teams

  • Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future
