Junior Systems Administrator

The Cleveland Orchestra is seeking a Junior Systems Administrator who will be responsible for the onboarding and ongoing support for system and software services at The Cleveland Orchestra. The Junior Systems Administrator will also support end user applications and infrastructure as the organization positions itself in its second century.

Position responsibilities include the following:

  • In collaboration with the Assistant Director for IT Services, provide support in the deployments of infrastructure, networking, telephone, and cloud based systems.
  • Managing and completing advanced internal IT projects including migrations, system upgrades, and new system deployments.
  • Responsible for day-to-day CRM maintenance including user account management, systems documentation, configurations, and operational instructions.
  • Ensures security of systems and data are upheld to the highest standards.
  • Proactive monitoring of applications and services using a combination of tools to ensure high availability and service at Severance Hall and Blossom Music Center.
  • Seeks to be innovative and adaptable to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Manages relationships with consultants and software suppliers to optimize service, cost, and risk.

The successful candidate will meet the following qualifications:
  • A required minimum 1-2 years’ experience in an IT or MSP environment.
  • Knowledge and experience in working with Active Directory, Customer Relationship Management Systems and related services is required.
  • Knowledge of Office365/Microsoft365 deployments and management is a plus.
  • Experience in Microsoft software products.
  • Expert knowledge of various technologies and designs.
  • Strong customer service attitude and the ability to work effectively with personnel at all levels of the organization.
  • Exceptional critical thinking, problem solving, and analytical skills with an attention to detail.
  • Ability to provide off hour support for critical systems support.
  • Knowledge of Tessitura (CRM) a big plus.
