What will I be doing?

As a Night Auditor, you will be performing daily auditing procedures to ensure that all guest and owner charges are properly balanced with the property revenue and expense transactions. Commitment and dedication to our Spirit of Service culture is an expected behavior to be displayed towards and guests and team members at all times.

  • Follows property audit procedures to balance daily revenue and expense transactions, identifies the causes of out-of-balance situations promptly, produces various reports for management, and takes initiative to correct errors to prevent reoccurrence

  • Ensures that all charges have been properly posted to the appropriate guest folio or master account, balanced and all supporting documentation is attached

  • Reconciles all charges to the ledger. Prepares backup files and closes out shift and day on the reservation system, including preparing system for next day business

  • Generates housekeeping reports and prints folios for next-day departures. Complies daily revenue reports and files work accordingly

  • Responsible for accurate management of cash funds and daily shift deposits

  • Calculates account balance at month-end and submits to accounting

  • Processes reservation advance deposits from receipt of reservation information to depositing and logging all monies. Performs all Front Desk duties including check-in, check-out and cashier procedures properly and efficiently

  • Assists with guest and owner needs and requests delivering outstanding hospitality at all times

  • Assists with other departmental duties such as bell stand, answering phones, etc. Reports any unresolved problems with owners and guests to management. Maintains a clean work area. Provides information on area attractions and resort amenities

  • Types correspondence and reports for management as needed. Assists club owners in certain aspects of the club program

  • Assists other departments as needed and carries out other duties as assigned by management

What are we looking for?

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Excellent math skills and working knowledge of basic accounting theories and principles
  • Basic English language communication skills to communicate both verbally and in writing
  • Customer service skills
  • Able to adjust to schedule changes and cover shifts on short notice to meet business demands
  • Ability to multi-task responsibilities and prioritize duties to meet deadlines and demands
  • Experience in Front Desk / Reservations or related guest service background
