Summary
We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team in Fountain Valley. This role is vital in ensuring accurate financial transactions and maintaining customer relationships, contributing significantly to our mission of delivering excellence in every product we offer.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for all aspects of collections, disputes, billing, making collection calls on delinquent accounts and resolving collection issues.
- Interact closely with Customer Service, Sales and Shipping Dept. to research and handle shipping claims and credit card refunds.
- Review statements and aging report and reconcile unresolved receivables such as unapplied cash, deposit on accounts and refunds.
- Review problem accounts and reserve the allowance for doubtful accounts on quarterly basis.
- Review and follow through with government contracts, responsible for electronic billing and follow up with payment information.
- Assist with invoicing, daily cash deposit and cash posting.
- Assist in annual and year-end audits and special projects.
- Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting or Finance and or up to 5 years relevant work experience preferred.
- Computer Skills
- Knowledge of Epicor is a plus.
