Job Title: Access Control Security Officer
we are seeking dependable and vigilant Access Control Checkpoint Officers to join our team at a fast-paced distribution center. Your primary responsibility will be to monitor and manage access points, ensuring only authorized personnel enter and exit the facility. This position plays a crucial role in maintaining the safety and security of our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor entry and exit points for employees, visitors, and contractors
Verify identification and credentials before granting access
Conduct vehicle and foot patrols as required
Log visitor information and maintain accurate access records
Report suspicious activity, security violations, or safety hazards immediately
Enforce facility policies and procedures
Communicate professionally with employees and guests
Operate surveillance and access control systems as needed
Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent
Prior security or access control experience preferred, but not required
Must be at least 18 years old
Ability to remain alert and focused during shift
Strong attention to detail and communication skills
Reliable transportation and punctuality
Must be able to stand for long periods and work in varying weather conditions
Background check and drug screening required
Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying temperatures.
Physical stamina for standing, walking, bending, and lifting.
Must have valid Security Guard License
Must be 18 years old
