Brown & Brown is seeking an Employee Benefits Account Manager to join our growing team in Phoenix, AZ!

The Account Manager is responsible for open enrollment coordination and day-to-day service. Account Managers work closely with Account Executives and Producers to ensure that client expectations are met while adhering to the service model.

How You Will Contribute:

  • Serve as the primary client service contact, coordinating with brokers, vendors, carriers, and other parties to ensure effective communication and issue resolution.
  • Manage day-to-day operations of assigned accounts, including renewals, benefit changes, and new plan implementations.
  • Assist in planning and supporting client meetings, including off-site events, enrollment sessions, and wellness fairs.
  • Ensure all client communications, including emails, are addressed within 24 hours and documented accurately in the agency management system.
  • Advise clients on claims, billing, eligibility, and compliance with federal/state laws (e.g., COBRA, HIPAA, FMLA, ERISA).
  • Support the Account Executive with client presentations and benefit plan strategies.
  • Coordinate enrollment logistics, confirming dates and involving vendors as needed to meet required timelines.
  • Maintain and update accurate client data in the agency systems while generating necessary communications and documentation.
  • Meet all agency licensing and enrollment timeline requirements, staying compliant with internal and external guidelines.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, products, and regulations, and contribute positively to team and agency goals.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Licenses and Certifications:

  • AZ Life and Health License.

Skills & Experience to Be Successful:

  • Four-year college degree preferred.
  • 3+ years' experience in the employee benefits industry.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
