As an Account Manager Trainee, you'll learn the ins and outs of business sales while working with Verizon 5G's business solutions. You'll start in our comprehensive training program, then gradually take on real client interactions as you build your skills. No experience? No problem - we'll teach you everything from the ground up and support you every step of the way.
As An Account Manager Trainee, Your Day-to-Day Will Include:
- Going through our structured training program to learn Verizon 5G's business products and services
- Learning how to identify and approach potential customers/ clients who need telecommunications solutions (in an in-person setting)
- Shadowing experienced account managers to see how it's really done
- Practicing your presentation skills with real Verizon 5G business solutions
- Working toward your training milestones and your sales goals
- Getting comfortable with our systems for tracking client interactions
- Attending team meetings and training sessions to keep building your knowledge
Qualifications For the Account Manager Trainee Role:
- High school diploma or college degree (any field is fine)
- 1-2 years of previous customer service, retail, or hospitality experience
- Enthusiastic attitude and genuine interest in learning
- Good communication skills and the ability to connect with people
- Self-motivated and willing to put in the work to succeed
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Reliable transportation for local business visits
Nice to Have (Not Required):
- Experience talking to people in professional settings
- Part-time work or internships in any business environment
- Leadership roles in school, sports, or volunteer activities
- Comfort with technology and learning new software

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
