Are you detail-oriented and thrive in a fast-paced office environment? We’re seeking an Accounts Receivable Support Specialist to join our team! This role combines credit and collections efforts with administrative support, playing a key role in maintaining accurate customer records, processing account updates and ensuring timely collections.
Credit and Collections
- Initiate calls and correspondence with customers to inquire about and collect outstanding balances
- Collaborate with Customer Service and Sales teams to resolve billing and payment discrepancies
- Monitor accounts and release orders or place credit holds as appropriate
- Provide regular updates to A/R Manager on account statuses, credit holds, and collection efforts
Administrative Support
- Maintain and update customer database records with accuracy and consistency
- Respond to the high volume of internal and external requests regarding account information
- Organize documentation and assist with report preparation
- Support the credit and collections team with administrative tasks as assigned

Physical Demands
Seldom lifting, pushing or pulling up to 65 lbs. primarily related to occasional file storage
Job Requirements
- High School Diploma required
- College-level accounting courses, associate’s degree in accounting or equivalent work experience preferred
- Experience using computer-based accounting systems and some proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word.
- Prior experience in credit and collections, customer account management, or administrative support preferred.
