Job Overview:
We’re looking for a passionate and driven Activation Specialist to join our growing brewery sales team. In this role, you’ll be at the forefront of bringing the Pittsburgh Brewing brands to life through exciting activations, events, and promotions that engage consumers and elevate the brewery’s presence in the market. From coordinating tasting events to managing product launches, you’ll work across departments to make sure our brand experiences leave a lasting impression.
The ideal candidate will have a love for beer, a knack for executing engaging brand activations, and the ability to work well in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Event & Activation Execution: Plan and execute in-person and digital activations, including on premise promotions, off premise samplings, in market events, taproom events, beer festivals, and collaborations with retail partners. Ensure these events align with our brand’s identity and create engaging experiences for customers.
- Brand Promotion: Work closely with marketing and sales teams to create and implement promotional campaigns that drive brand awareness, product trial, and customer loyalty. Focus on creating buzz around new releases, seasonal offerings, and limited-edition brews.
- Community Engagement: Build strong relationships with local bars, restaurants, and retailers to expand the brewery's presence. Coordinate tastings, tap takeovers, and other activations that highlight the brewery’s craft and values.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of campaigns, ensuring proper signage, promotional materials, and staff training are all in place. Work with external vendors and partners to source activation materials.
- Event Management: Coordinate all logistics for on-site events and activations, including staff scheduling, product deliveries, and setup/tear-down. Ensure a seamless experience for attendees and staff alike.
- Metrics & Reporting: Track the success of activations and events, gather customer feedback, and analyze data to report on campaign effectiveness through event recaps. Use insights to continuously improve future activations.
- Brand Ambassador: Represent the brewery at events, festivals, and tastings, communicating our story and values while educating consumers about our beers.
- Creative Problem-Solving: Anticipate and resolve challenges that may arise during event planning or execution, ensuring all activations run smoothly.
- Capture photos and videos of consumers enjoying Pittsburgh Brewing brands.

Essential Requirements:

11. Valid driver’s license required with excellent driving record.
12. Highly self-motivated and ability to work hours as required.
13. Must be available for night and weekend promotions.
14. Must have solid computer knowledge and skills: Microsoft Word and Excel.
15. Performs additional duties and responsibilities as requested, directed, or assigned by management.
