Under the supervision of the Director of Activities, responsible for assisting the residents with activities listed within the scope of their care plans. Has successfully completed in-house activities certification course.
Duties require knowledge of activities for geriatric nursing home residents’ equivalent to completion of a high school diploma and up to one year of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must possess a valid driver’s license. Must be skilled in techniques of intervention. Must be CPR certified.
Must be van and bus certified trained. Complete UTV training with Fish and Game.
Ability to properly assess resident needs for activities and determine which activities are appropriate.
