Ruth’s Promise is on the lookout for a creative, energetic, motivated and compassionate leader to join our team as our Activity Coordinator. In this role, you’ll plan, coordinate and implement daily programs and activities in our Adult Day Program, working with staff and volunteers to ensure a fun, enriching and fulfilling day of engagement for our participants.

A little about what you’ll be doing:
- Create monthly calendars and plan all activities for each day of the adult day program with attention to the individual needs of each participant.
- Provide a varied, goal-driven program with creativity, fun and flexibility, incorporating cognitive exercise, movement, age-appropriate arts and crafts, guest performers or visits, social bonding, spirituality, intergenerational connection and opportunities for participants to have purpose.
- Coordinate supplies as well as staff and volunteer team member participation for optimal provision of all activities.
What we’re looking for:
We’re looking for someone with heart, humor, and the skills to provide goal-driven activities with structure, energy and fun. Ideally, you’ll have prior experience in adult day care and in providing activities with an older population.
You’ll also need:
- Great people skills—you’re a natural team player who’s comfortable talking with families, staff, and the public.
- A respect for confidentiality and a strong sense of dignity for the people we serve.
- A Level II background check (required).
- A love for working in a friendly, team-oriented environment where laughter and collaboration are part of the daily routine
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
