Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Acupuncturist to join our holistic health team. Duties
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine individual treatment plans.
- Administer acupuncture treatments using sterile needles while adhering to aseptic techniques.
- Utilize knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology to explain treatment processes and outcomes to patients.
- Implement trigger point therapy and acute pain management strategies as needed.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans based on feedback and observed outcomes.
- Perform physical examinations to assess the patient's condition and response to treatment.
- Maintain accurate patient records, documenting treatments, progress, and any changes in patient condition.
- Educate patients on self-care techniques and lifestyle modifications that complement their acupuncture treatments.
Requirements
- Valid certification in acupuncture from an accredited institution.
- CPR Certification is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, and pain management techniques.
- Experience with trigger point therapy is a plus.
- Ability to perform thorough patient assessments and physical examinations.
- Excellent communication skills for effective patient interaction and education.
