ABOUT THIS POSITION


Over 52 million passengers traveled through Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport in 2024, one of the busiest airports in the country and in the nation's 5th largest city. Sky Harbor is the largest of three airports in the Phoenix Airport System (Phoenix Sky Harbor, Deer Valley, and Goodyear airports) which is operated by the City of Phoenix Aviation Department and has an economic impact over $44 billion annually.

Parking Services is seeking a results-oriented professional to serve as an Administrative Aide - Employee Parking Coordinator within the Business and Properties Division at Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport. The duties for this position include but are not limited to, monitoring parking management contractors, coordinating employee parking, reviewing parking registration forms, responding to inquiries from employee parkers, drafting parking-related policies, managing the revenue control system and procedures along with various administrative functions. Work involves independent decision making on problems encountered within the employee parking program.

Key duties include:

  • Drafts parking related policies and procedures.
  • Review daily shared email and voicemail.
  • Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual meetings.
  • Develop and distribute the quarterly employee parking newsletter.
  • Oversee and monitor customer service-related inquiries, concerns, or complaints.
  • Responds to inquiries from employees regarding the employee parking program.
  • Provides employee recommendations for the Parking Services Program.
  • Conducts usage audits for employee misuse according to rules and regulations.
  • Review and investigate non-chargeable validations and exceptions daily.
  • Monitor and process employee parking accounts receivable payments.
  • Reviews parking registration forms and oversees annual terms and condition renewal process.
  • Interacts and coordinates with other Aviation Department Divisions regarding issues related to employee parking.
  • Assist Landside Operations and/or Police by researching parking decals, hangers or proxy cards assigned to employee parkers.
  • Monitor daily bank deposits made by parking contractor and finalizes daily settlement reports with the Aviation Financial Department.
  • Demonstrates superior seamless customer service, integrity, and commitment to innovation, efficiency and fiscally responsible activity.
  • Enforce employee parking violations per Airport Rules and Regulations, Arizona Revised Statutes, Federal Regulations, and Phoenix City Code.

IDEAL CANDIDATE

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 products.
  • Strong business writing skills and presentation skills.
  • Strong communication skills to efficiently communicate with all levels of management and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to function in a fast-paced airport business environment.
  • Ability to compile financial analysis, conduct research, and summarize surveys.
  • Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with employees, business partners, tenants, customers, and representatives of governmental agencies.

SALARY


Pay Range: $20.51 to $35.08 per hour.

Hiring Range: $20.51 to $30.31 per hour.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Four years of experience performing clerical duties.
  • OR Bachelor's degree in public or business administration or a related field.
  • Other combinations of experience and education that meet the minimum requirements may be substituted.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS


The minimum qualifications listed above, plus:

  • Customer service experience.
  • Experience drafting policies and procedures.
  • Experience utilizing an accounts receivable system.
  • Experience working in an airport business environment.
  • Experience overseeing compliance with vendor and/or service provider contracts.
  • Experience scheduling and hosting virtual meetings using software like WebEx, MS Teams, or similar software.
  • Experience enforcing rules and regulations, Arizona revised Statutes and Federal Regulations, and Phoenix City Code.
