- Serve as the primary administrative support for the Head of Lower School, Assistant Head of Lower School and their designees
- Ensure the smooth and efficient operations of a lower school main office, managing various administrative tasks to ensure operational efficiency, including data entry, record keeping, and tracking division-specific projects
- Serve as the initial point of contact to welcome visitors, students, parents, and faculty, ensuring a welcoming and professional office environment
- Provide clerical support that includes answering phones, filing, mail, copying, calendar management
- Coordinate meetings by scheduling, sending invitations, tracking attendance, and preparing meeting materials
- Maintain inventory of office supplies, ordering and replenishing as needed
- Support student needs by delivering items to classrooms, assisting with campus transitions, and coordinating with teachers as required
- Usher students to various points on campus
- Assist with the planning and execution of lower school events and activities
- Uphold the School’s commitment to confidentiality, professionalism, and inclusivity in all interactions
- Provide backup classroom coverage, as required
- Perform other duties, as assigned by the Head of Lower School or Assistant Head of Lower School
- High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree highly desired
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.) and general computer literacy
- Exceptional organizational and time
- Verifiable history of exercising discretion when managing highly sensitive and confidential matters
- Exemplary interpersonal, organizational, time management, and customer service skills
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines with maximum precision and minimal supervision
- Ability to communicate effectively (orally, written, non-verbal) and build trust among diverse constituencies
- Commitment to actively promote and contribute to an engaging and inclusive workplace for all
- A collaborative and flexible mindset and ability to effectively manage stress, and adapt to changing work priorities
- Experience working in a school setting or similar environment is a plus
- Willingness to work as a team play and individual contributor
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines with maximum precision and minimal supervision
- Excellent communication skills (oral, written, non-verbal) to build trust among constituencies
- Commitment to actively promote and contribute to an engaging and inclusive workplace
