Position Summary:
In conjunction with Directors and the Vice President of Quality Assurance and Training, develop and implement quality assurance and training systems in the field that ensure the health and safety of people served, and utilize and incorporate best practices to increase the overall quality of services and quality of life for people served. This includes developing and performing quality audits across the organization, including MAP audits when needed, and ensuring all required follow-up occurs in conjunction with the Program Director and Director of Operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with the development of on-the-job/field-based training system and requirements including implementation, and oversight. Train in the field as required.
- Coordinate and participate in training of agency orientation as required.
- Assist with organization’s overall training efforts. Lead and participate in the agency’s Training Steering Committee and work cooperatively with all departments to ensure training standards and regulations are met.
- Compilation of information across all service locations as part of Metric Quality oversight.
- Oversee the Quality Assurance audit system and process established within the organization or by regulatory bodies.
- Participate in the preparation for and activity related to all state and federal audits including DDS Licensing and Certification and CARF accreditation.
- Oversee HCSIS daily alert audits and preparation of regularly scheduled reports.
- Assist with coordination and dissemination of information for Risk/Incident Review meetings. Participate in all formal Risk Management forums.
- Enter information into software (such as Excel and SharePoint) in preparation for analysis.
Education: High School diploma or equivalent required. College degree preferred.
Experience in Quality Assurance and/or management preferred. Certifications: MAP certification, preferred.
Working Conditions:
General office environment with standard working hours. Occasional travel to various service locations may be required.
