Adult Flag Football Official
DEPARTMENT: PARKSRECREATION
JOB CLASSIFICATION: PART TIME
GENERAL PURPOSE
Under the general supervision of the Recreation Supervisor, responsible for officiating Adult Men's and High School Recreation Flag Football League.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- This is a non-benefited position
- Responsible for officiation Men's and High School Recreational Flag Football leagues
- Resolve problems and conflicts on site.
- Exhibit and emphasize teamwork and sportsmanship.
- Prepare reports and other written documents as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Requires a strong knowledge of Football, including rules, scoring procedures, fouls and hand signals. Ability to move up and down the field with the flow of the game; could require some bending and lifting. Watch for and call all rule violations and be able to communicate a reason for violation. Ability to resolve problems and conflicts at game sites.
SCHEDULE
Adult Men's League is on Monday evenings starting the first week of August. High School League is on TuesdaysThursdays starting in September.
