The role of the Advanced Practice Provider in Pre-Admission Testing involves conducting comprehensive patient assessments, obtaining detailed medical histories, ordering and interpreting pre-procedural tests, prescribing necessary treatments, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to optimize patients prior to their procedures. Additionally, you will educate patients and their families about the prescribed treatments and the peri-procedural process, while maintaining accurate and thorough patient documentation.

Position Summary:
We are currently seeking a qualified and motivated Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our Pre-Admission Testing (PAT) departments in a pool capacity. This role involves travel between designated facilities and offers an exceptional work-life balance with a consistent daytime schedule and no weekend, holiday, night, or on-call responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive pre-admission assessments and evaluations
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient readiness for surgical procedures
- Review and interpret diagnostic tests and medical histories
- Provide patient education and support throughout the pre-operative process
Qualifications:

Licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) with experience in Family Medicine or Adult-Geriatric Care preferred
- Graduate NPs with substantial Registered Nurse (RN) experience in surgical services (ex. Pre-Admission Testing (PAT) or Pre-Operative (PreOp) Testing) will be considered
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and organizational skills
- Willingness and ability to travel between sites as needed
