Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Aesthetic Nurse to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in nursing with experience in aesthetic treatments, including botulinum toxin and dermal fillers. This role requires a compassionate professional who is committed to providing exceptional patient care while ensuring safety and compliance with medical standards.
Responsibilities
- Administer aesthetic treatments such as botulinum toxin injections and dermal fillers, ensuring patient comfort and satisfaction.
- Conduct laser treatments
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history reviews and physical examinations.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop individualized treatment plans for patients.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Educate patients on post-treatment care and potential side effects of procedures.
- Monitor patients during recovery, providing support and addressing any concerns that may arise.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in aesthetic medicine and participate in ongoing professional development.
- Ensure the clinic environment is safe, clean, and compliant with infection control standards.
Requirements
- Valid nursing license with experience in a clinical or medical office setting.
- Minimum 1 year Aesthetic Injector experience
- Must be comfortable being on social media
- Proficiency in administering injections and performing aesthetic procedures.
- Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, Cerner, Athenahealth, or eClinicalWorks.
- Experience in critical care, acute care, or emergency medicine is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and patient assessment techniques.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team while demonstrating excellent communication skills.
- Experience working with diverse populations, including individuals with developmental disabilities or geriatric patients.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and patient care processes. Preferred qualifications may include:
- Background in ophthalmology, hospice & palliative medicine, or pain management.
- Experience with various medical procedures such as suturing, IV insertion, catheterization, or phlebotomy.
- Familiarity with ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10) and CPT coding for accurate billing practices.

Pay: $45.00 - $65.00 per hour
